No.9 Wanda Cruise

The "Captain 9" cruise ship is one of the vessels under the Wanda Group's cruise line. With a stylish and cool exterior, it can accommodate up to 200 guests for both travel and dining. Additionally, the ship is equipped with multiple cabins, catering to various needs such as VIP banquet halls, VIP lounges, coffee bars, and audio-visual entertainment areas.

To provide a more comfortable and relaxed entertainment atmosphere for passengers during their voyages, each cabin on the cruise ship is fitted with the renowned audio system from the world-famous brand QSC. These devices offer exceptional sound reproduction. The speakers installed on this cruise ship primarily belong to QSC's K Active Series, with a total of 6 K10s and 2 KSubs integrated into the entertainment system. The K10 is a two-way speaker with a 10-inch low-frequency driver and a 1.75-inch high-power tweeter, boasting a maximum sound pressure level of 129dB and a conical coverage angle of 90 degrees. Meanwhile, the KSub is a well-designed dual 12-inch subwoofer system using acoustic guidance principles. With a compact front width of only 0.36 meters, its sleek design meets the strict space requirements for equipment on the cruise ship.

The audio-visual entertainment room is the most popular area on the cruise ship, serving as a multi-purpose space for promotional video playback, banquet sound reinforcement, KTV entertainment, and movie appreciation. The K series, designed for versatility, finds its optimal balance point here. The K10's built-in 8 suspension points facilitate easy installation and positioning, providing comprehensive coverage for each seat in the room. The K series also incorporates DSP processors with various functional options, delivering outstanding performance optimization for both vocals and dance music. The clear and comfortable sound ensures that passengers maintain a delightful mood throughout their journey.

The 1000W D-class amplifier integrated into the K series is an efficient green energy solution, requiring only 1.2A of current to achieve optimal performance. The total of 8 K series speakers only need a single 10A junction box to meet their power supply needs. This design is particularly advantageous for cruise ships heavily reliant on diesel generator-powered battery systems. Due to limited space, the wiring in the cabins is relatively centralized, and the K series, designed based on active technology, requires only a small amount of cabling for operation. Its high-quality noise reduction circuitry significantly reduces electromagnetic interference within the cabins, further enhancing the signal-to-noise ratio.
