The Guiyang Grand Theater is situated at the intersection of South Market Road and Xinhua Road in Guiyang City. The theater's primary color scheme comprises silver-gray and sky blue, resembling a piano when viewed from above and appearing like dancing musical notes. The entire complex comprises an open-air square, a theater, a concert hall, upscale cinemas, a parking lot, as well as cafes, rehearsal halls, and office spaces. It features a 1,269-seat theater and a 633-seat concert hall, equipped for conferences and dining functions. The underground level houses a parking lot capable of accommodating 100 cars and five small luxury cinemas.
The above-ground section of the theater starts with a large-scale Grade A theater that accommodates 1,350 people. It's an oval-shaped hall with crimson-colored soft seats arranged in two tiers: orchestra and balcony. The stage includes lifting platforms, compensation platforms, and car platforms. Additionally, the theater boasts a circular concert hall where the audience encircles the stage, offering 680 seats across two tiers. This hall features a rotating stage and a spacious performance platform suitable for solo musical performances as well as large symphony concerts. The theater's audio system incorporates cutting-edge technology and equipment, including numerous American QSC company PL series amplifiers and network audio transmission systems.
