The sound reinforcement system in the regulatory hall of the National Administration of Press and Publication and Radio and Television adopts the QSC Q-SYS system as its core. The Q-SYS system is a large-scale network audio, video, and control system with a maximum system scale of 512*512. The project selected the Core500i medium-sized processing host based on user requirements, supporting primary and backup dual-network hot backup, dual-network, and dual-host hot backup links, third-party control, and automatic detection and synchronization of control parameters by the backup host to ensure system reliability. The system generates logs for easy viewing. The total system latency is less than 2.5 milliseconds, and the system can monitor the host, interface box, amplifier, and lines. The system equipment supports 7x24 uninterrupted operation.
The I/O FRAME is a 1U modular audio interface box that supports a maximum of 16 audio channels. It adopts 32-bit floating-point signal processing and high-end digital-to-analog and analog-to-digital converters, providing the entire system with high-fidelity audio quality. The body integrates 8 GPIO channels (relay control terminal, voltage control terminal, and ground wire). GPIO can be configured through software for dry contact control or voltage level control. It can also output TTL level control signals to control external devices. All have dual network ports, supporting dual networks. When one audio network fails, the backup network can take over without delay. The I/O FRAME input interface box is configured with 5 units; the CIML4 input module is configured with 20 units, totaling 80 inputs (24 video companion audio, 12 multimedia devices, 24 alarms, 8 mixers, 8 microphones). The I/O FRAME output interface box is configured with 3 units; the CODP4 input module is configured with 12 units, totaling 48 outputs (2 to hard disk recorders, 16 to amplifiers, 16 to mixers, with other ports reserved).
