J Hotel is situated at the top of the world's second tallest skyscraper, the Shanghai Center Tower, offering breathtaking views of the Oriental Pearl and the entire panorama of Shanghai. As a new landmark project, the requirements for all supporting systems and equipment are exceptionally stringent. Leveraging the unique advantages of the Q-SYS Ecosystem, PCI Corporation has meticulously designed and implemented an ultimate audio, video, and control system for J Hotel, covering three boardrooms, two banquet halls, and various areas within the hotel.

To ensure a high-quality meeting experience, PCI utilized 2 QSC Core 110F processors and 2 MP-A20V multi-channel amplifiers, complemented by 8 AD-C6T in-ceiling full-range speakers in line with the overall style of the boardrooms. Additionally, 5 Visionary Solutions E4100 distributed encoders and 3 D4100 distributed decoders were integrated into the three boardrooms to ensure distributed control of large screens. In the boardrooms, the Q-SYS Ecosystem serves as the primary system, meeting all the daily meeting requirements, seamlessly blending with the room design, and allowing the addition of specific function plugins based on user needs within the Q-SYS system. This significantly enhances system flexibility and scalability while reducing future upgrade costs.

In the banquet hall, 2 Core 110F processors and 2 TouchMix-8 mixers were used as processing and control devices. Considering the hall's high ceilings and large space, 12 AD-C6T in-ceiling full-range speakers were deployed along with 4 MP-A20V multi-channel amplifiers, ensuring optimal audio quality for every position in the hall. Additionally, 6 E4100 distributed encoders, 10 D4100 distributed decoders, and 1 mobile decoder were added to enable flexible screen projection in any area of the banquet hall.

Beyond the boardrooms and banquet hall, over 200 AD-C4T in-ceiling full-range speakers paired with MP-A20V amplifiers were used in other areas of the hotel, creating a high-quality background music system. All audio in these three areas is managed through the Q-SYS Ecosystem, providing unified control through the Q-SYS Ecosystem backend. In addition to meeting daily needs, the Q-SYS Ecosystem can flexibly integrate with the hotel's existing broadcasting and fire safety systems, avoiding redundant investments and reducing construction costs.

In this project, PCI Corporation's deliverables have received unanimous approval from the owner and users, who have highly praised the performance and stability of the QSC Ecosystem. This project once again demonstrates the robustness of the Q-SYS Ecosystem, meeting diverse requirements for different scenarios and seamlessly integrating with various existing systems. This not only significantly saves costs for users but also makes overall operation management more convenient and user-friendly.
