Ocean Flower Island, located in the Binhai New District of Danzhou City, Hainan Province, spans an area of 12,000 mu reclaimed from the sea, with a total length of about 6.8 kilometers. It is a major project funded by Evergrande Group with an investment of 160 billion yuan, aimed at creating a one-stop international resort integrating theme parks, resort hotels, shopping and dining, conference and exhibition facilities, coastal entertainment, and cultural performances.
Recently, the large-scale tourism project on Ocean Flower Island has entered the commissioning phase. As a partner of the Evergrande Ocean Flower Island project, PCI also entered the field for commissioning. In this project, the owner proposed to leverage cloud computing technology to create a new smart cloud platform and integrate the operation, management, maintenance, and audio system of all subsystems into this new platform. They also required that instructions could be issued to each subsystem and executed through the Evergrande cloud platform.
The PCI Cultural Tourism Division team spent 10 months on development and design. They broke away from the traditional approach of developing platforms based on protocols and mechanisms provided by equipment or manufacturers. Instead, they chose to modify the working mechanisms and communication protocols of each subsystem based on the customized protocols of different subsystem users, platform integration situations, and business requirements. Ultimately, they achieved seamless integration of the park's broadcast, background music systems, and control management systems with the Evergrande cloud platform. This integration allows remote querying and control management of the status of devices in each subsystem through the Evergrande cloud platform, providing the owner with a highly customized, no-blind-spot integrated system platform.
