The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen (CUHK-Shenzhen), is located at 2001 Longxiang Avenue, Longgang District, Shenzhen, to the south of Dayun Park and north of Longxiang Avenue, occupying an area of approximately 1 million square meters. CUHK-Shenzhen places a strong emphasis on international exchange and cultivating a global perspective among students. Currently, the university has signed agreements with multiple internationally renowned institutions to collaborate on the education of undergraduate and graduate students.
In alignment with the university's development direction, a state-of-the-art International Conference Hall has been constructed on the first floor of Daoyuan Building. After thorough evaluation, the university has chosen the fully digital SHURE DCS6000 simultaneous interpretation conference discussion system for the conference hall.
The SHURE DCS6000 system is a technologically innovative, fully digital product that delivers clear audio quality regardless of its location. It serves as an efficient solution to meet the needs of both speakers and listeners. The microphone units are exquisitely designed, offering portable, tabletop, and embedded versions, all equipped with lockable gooseneck microphones that feature anti-radio frequency interference capabilities, along with optional voting tools.
CUHK-Shenzhen's International Conference Hall includes two interpretation rooms, each equipped with two interpreter consoles, allowing for simultaneous interpretation in up to four languages. The inner circle of the conference hall is fitted with 36 speaking units, each featuring optional headphone jacks for different language selections. The outer circle's observer seats are equipped with 100 infrared receivers, catering to the simultaneous interpretation needs of up to 100 individuals.
